ST. TIMOTHY CHILDREN’S HOPE CENTRE
This is a project of the Anglican Diocese of Bondo housed at Bishop Okullu College—Kokise. It’s main aim is to address the increasing cases of vulnerability amongst children and the youths across the Diocese.

Grant Application & Award
- The United Thanks Offering and the Anglican Diocese of Bondo signed a grant agreement to support St. Timothy Children’s Hope Centre.
- The Diocese through our partnership applied for the grant in October 2023 to help us run the Vocational Training Centre.
- We are currently the beneficiaries of the $48,900 awarded for the year 2024.
Appreciation
The Diocesan Synod held on 16th May 2024 appreciates the grant given by the United Thanks Offering for the support of St.Timothy Children’s Hope Centre as cited in the Bishop’s Charge.
Grant Usage & Timelines
- Launch St. Timothy Beauty Parlour by August 2024.
- Training the tailoring cohort for August –December 2024.
Into The Future
- St. Timothy Children’s Hope Centre thrives to holistically empower and nourish young people to be self –sustainable.
- St. Timothy Children’s Hope Centre hopes to secure regular funding to maintain the project
