Mother's Union (MU)

Mothers Union is a Christian organization of the Anglican Communion which is concerned with all aspect of Christian family life. It was founded by Mary Elizabeth Sumner in 1876 in England.

In Kenya, it was started by European women who had accompanied their husbands in railway construction and started to recruit mother in 1956.

Motto: Christian Care for families

Aim: Advancement of Christian religion in the sphere of marriage and family life.
