MOTHER'S UNION
Mothers Union is a Christian organization of the Anglican Communion which is concerned with all aspect of Christian family life. It was founded by Mary Elizabeth Sumner in 1876 in England. In Kenya, it was started by European women who had accompanied their husbands in railway construction and started to recruit mother in 1956.

About Mother's Union

Motto: Christian Care for families
Aim: Advancement of Christian religion in the sphere of marriage and family life.
Objectives;
- Uphold Christian teachings on the nature of marriage and promote and support its wider understanding.
- Encourage parents to bring up their children in the faith and life of the church.
- To help those whose family lives has met adversity
- Maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service
- Promote conditions in society favorable to stable family life and the protection of children.
