The Bishop's Trip Overseas
The Rt. Rev. Prof.Kodia sharing gifts of appreciation to the TWS staff
The Diocesan Bishop proceeded to sabbatical leave in March 2022 that led him to the USA for rest and engagements outside the Diocese.
The visit gave opportunity for Bishop to interact with individuals, groups, partners and create new links which would give way for enhanced missions between parties. He was also able to minister to different congregations in the states during his stay. Kindly Visit St. Paul’s Brookfield CT, St. Mary’s Laguna Beach CA YouTube channels for the enriching sermons.
Most of all the Rt. Rev’d. Prof. David Kodia paid Courtesy call to Trinity Wall Street (TWS), a partner organization that has seen the Diocese rise in matters development, alluding to the enormous support so far received for the construction of the Synod Plaza project in Bondo Town-Siaya County. We believe that such gesture would continually create enhanced partnership.
Paying Courtesy call to Bishop John Taylor of Los Angeles
Our hearts go out to all who played a key role hosting the Diocesan Bishop. Many thanks to the Rev.Canon Dr. George Okusi one of our Diocesan Clergy residing in the USA, the Rt. Rev. John Taylor, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Ian Douglas of Connecticut, the Rev. Dr. Kate Cress, Rev. Fr. Lester Mackenzie, Rev. Peter Browning and all the Churches and congregants who offered time for fellowship.

Canon Bill Schrull on the pulpit delivering a sermon
We further extend our appreciation to Canon Bill and his wife Catherine Schrull for regarding Bishop David’s visit with great affection and reciprocated the same by visiting Bondo Diocese in the month of May 2022. The sermon Canon Bill shared with our congregation at a local church was indeed insightful. No amount of words would measure up to the explicit act of love, may our good Lord enrich you abundantly.
