Finish The Unfinished
The New Cathedral of St Michael and All Angels in Bondo
is an amazing feat that is becoming another great landmark of Bondo Town. Its posturing magnificent structure becomes a symbol of resilience and unfettered commitment to the Lord’s service. The mobilization of resources for its construction has not been without challenges.
Coming immediately after finishing construction work of the 8 floors Trinity Church House it was expected that our Christians would be fatigued. But I must admit that intense mobilization and planning as well as the longstanding trust we have built have played a critical role in building our Christians sense of obligation.
The fundraiser was graced by the Bishop of Nairobi The Rt Rev Jonathan Kabiru; who was the guest preacher; Hon Ken Obura, Hon Gideon Ochanda and Hon David Ochieng. It’s also worth noting that President William Ruto and his team had earlier brought their donation on March 8th 2026 totaling to Ksh 37m.
The total collection for this third round of our fundraiser broke all the previous records.

It’s our prayer that all the parishes with outstanding balances and those who made various pledges would redeem their pledges soon to enable us close the Ksh 18m deficit. We thank everyone who has contributed towards this project and also appeal to everyone willing to donate to do so.
